A proper “Robinson Crusoe task”
With very simple means you will built a boat/raft out of cardboard boxes, shrink wrap and packing tape, as well as costumes for those who will paddle. Here it is important to ensure that the vessel can float and is quick to paddle.
Create a cardboard boat of your own design that will compete in two classes
– Fastest vessel and driver,
– “Pimp my ride” – we crown the coolest vehicle.
After the preliminary rounds there will be a competition for placement in the finale and of course the announcement of the fastest boat. There will be a Prize Ceremony with Champagne for the winning team after the race.
We provide tents, “speakers” and music.
Number of participants: 20-400
Amount per team: 6-10
Time of year: May to October
Duration: 1,5 – 2 hours
Other: Location with clean water and 2m depth
Equipment and Safety
For us safety always comes first. All participants that will enter the water must wear a lifejacket. This we obviously will provide, along with all other equipment needed to build the boat. We also have an escort boat in the water when people paddle. Clothes that provide good movement are an advantage. Wetsuits can also be borrowed.
One of our success criteria is to engage participants in different ways, where cooperation, creativity and expression are important.
This task requires both “thinkers and doers” to cooperate well.
